In February 1931, large human skeletons were found in a Humboldt
lake bed near Lovelock, Nevada. Some were wrapped in a gum
covered fabric similar to the Egyptian manner. There have been
many discoveries that the public is not allowed to see. Some
remains are still being investigated.
In 1911 miners digging for
guano from a cave which was 22 miles south of Lovelock, Nevada
discovered a mummy with red hair; the local Pointe Indians told of a
tribe of red-haired giants called the Si-te-cahs who once roamed the
area. Dr. Dye's research is ongoing.
